Jenny Reagan: (Sydney) Jenny hails from the Boston area and has been involved in theater since she played the nerd in her 5th grade play. She's had a blast working with the cast and crew of The Altruists and is happy to be working with BAT again. Other stuff she's done includes: Fairy Faucet in Sinbad (Imaginary Beasts); Morgan in Where Moments Hung Before, Alisson Daniels in Hence These Tears & Ata in Criminal Hearts (Boston Actors Theater); Betty/Kafka in All in the Timing (Bad Habit Productions); Wanda in Kennedy's Children (The Bodega Theater Co.); National tour of Robin Hood & Greek Mythology (The Hampstead Stage Co.) Jenny loves and thanks her family for being so supportive and counts her blessings every day. |

Preston Graveline (Lance) is making his debut on the Boston professional stage. He is a recent graduate of Eastern Nazarene College where he performed in Twelve Angry Jurors (Foreman), Once on This Island (Armand), Godspell (John the Baptist/Judas), A Shayna Maidel (Duvid), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Linus) and The Miracle Worker (James Keller). This is his first main stage show with Boston Actors Theater. Preston performed on BATs small stage in the short play Why Does Bush Hate Flags? for SLAMBoston.

James Aitcheson (Ethan) A new arrival to the United States, James hails from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. He has played lead and supporting roles in a number of South African productions including Cabaret, Geography of a Horse Dreamer and The Glass Menagerie. He has also developed a number of educational theatre productions that aimed to address the spread of HIV/Aids among under-aged youth of South Africa. James has worked for non-profit organizations in the past and finds the characters inhabiting the Altruists to be less absurd than you think. Since arriving in Boston he has worked with the Boston Actors Theater and in Where Moments Hung Before and Makeshift Theatre Company in The Emperor’s New Clothes respectively. He will also feature in the short film Christmas after the Zombocalypse written and directed by Julia Specht and produced by Vincent Morreale of Paracelsus Films. He received his masters in Drama and Performance studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2008. |

Marc Harpin (Ronald) Marc's very excited to be working with the Boston Actors Theater folks for the first time. Most recently, he was seen in Company One/Phoenix's production of "Christmas Belles." Favorite past roles include Young Man in Theatre on Fire's "Bash," Mike in Way Theatre's "Memory of Water," Jim in New Rep on Tour's "Glass Menagerie," Algernon in Wellesley Summer Theatre's "Importance of Being Earnest," and James in Lyric Stage Company of Boston's "Red Herring." Hannah Cranton (Cybil) is excited and thankful for her debut with Boston Actors Theater. She is a recent graduate of Salem State College with a B.F.A in theatre performance. She recently performed in this years SLAM Boston with Another Country Productions the part of June in Measuring Matthew. Paul Ezzy (Ronald Understudy) A QA at BorisFX, where he gets to play with After Effects and Final Cut Pro all day. Otherwise, Paul is an aspiring independent filmmaker and actor. His favorite past time is making short comedic skits, playing video games, and watching cartoons. Paul is not ashamed to admit that he still loves video games and cartoons at age 29. Like the director, Paul is originally from Maine, but currently lives in Brighton. He thinks the Altruist is hilarious and hopes you think so too!

Matthew Christian (Ethan/Lance Understudy) A Boston native, Matt has performed as an actor and singer since the 4th grade. While an undergrad, he studied acting with Harvard/A.R.T. faculty Scott Zigler and Karen MacDonald and was the featured ballad soloist in his college a cappella group, the Harvard Krokodiloes. Matt is just getting into the theater scene in Boston and is thrilled to be part of his first production with the Boston Actors Theater!

Lauren Mosher (Sydney/Cybil Understudy) A theater major from the College of Wooster is thrilled to be partaking in her first Boston Actors Theater production. Additionally Lauren was involved in the summer theater programs at Walnut Hill and Carnegie Mellon University. Stage credits include: Marianne in Tartuffe, Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Maria in Twelfth Night, and Bunny in Babes in Arms. Also, while in college acted and helped develop the on-campus soap opera Bridgewood. Lauren would like her family, friends and Phillip for their support.

Joey C. Pelletier (Director) was born in Portland, Maine and graduated from Dean College in Franklin, MA. He moved to Boston in 2004 where began working as 11:11 Theatre's Marketing Department and was featured in four original plays by Brian Tuttle. He originated roles in Tuttle's All My Upside-Down Roses and Under Her Umbrella. With Alarm Clock Theatre he originated roles in Duplex: A Musical and the 2006 Elliot Norton Award winning P.S. Page Me Later. Along the way he's acted in Tinderbox Stage's production of Polaroid Stories by Naomi Iizuka, Zeitgeist Stage's Blowing Whistles, Holland Productions' Kid Simple: A Radio Play in the Flesh by Jordan Harrison, and imaginary beasts' The Fantastic Voyage of Sinbad the Sailor. In 2008 he became the Assistant Artistic Director and Core Cast Member for Danielle Leeber's Boston Actors Theater (BAT) where he has performed in Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman, Sex Drugs Rock & Roll by Eric Bogosian and more. Pelletier's first full length drama Where Moments Hung Before was produced by BAT in 2009 and was received with critical acclaim. He is presently directing The Altruists by Nicky Silver. |
